“FALLING LEAVES WALTON WHOPPER FUN RUN”

When: 08 November 2025
Leaving Porters Lake Pub Parking area @ 7:30 Sharp. Hooking up with Porters Lake riders at Exit 19. Turning right on the 107 – Forest Hills intersection at approximately 7:50 am. Parking alongside the highway next to Pattersons Homes. Departing there at 8:00 am sharp. Proceeding to Elmsdale Exit and turning left onto Highway 214. Continue to Nine Mile River on Highway 214 to the Highway 14 intersection. Turn left on Highway 14 and proceed to Cheese Factory Corner. At the Y intersection veer to the right and proceed to Kennetcook. In Kennetcook just past the Foodland Grocery store and jus before the Home Hardware store, there is a driveway going to the back to the Kennetcook Fire Dept. We should be there before 9:00 am and were departing from the Firehall parking area hopefully by 9:30 am.
Toys and / cash donations will be collected (passing the Xmas hat) at this location. Please support the cause for the less fortunate children at Xmas.
Who: Any registered and insured ATV or SxS. Invite your family and friends to come along.
Why: This is a great Fun Run with mixed trails. Nothing too technical. About 100 kms (+/-) in length. And this is a huge addition in support to our Annual Xmas Toy Drive. It’s a great day!
Lunch: going up to the Walton Pub for Lunch. The food has always been excellent there and they’re famous for their Walton Whopper. “You need to try this burger, its huge, and it’s oh sooo good!” But, if you’re not willing to try the burger, no worries, they have a nice varied menu to choose other items from.
This is a Rain or Shine event! there’s no cancellation. Unless the world comes to an end, or we have hurricanes, floods, torrential weather, snowstorms, tornados or earthquakes… we’ll post the cancellation via Facebook and the Marine Riders Trail Association website.
Gas is available adjacent to the Walton Pub. Self serve pumps.
All OHV Rules apply. ATVANS Trail memberships will be available to sign up. Fee $50.00 for the annual membership.
Pass the word around. Thanks to all participants, last year's Toy Drive was a success. This year we're looking to exceed last year's $ totals. Come on out, bring your friends, and “Lets Ride” and have some fun while supporting this annual event. Let’s show the less fortunate children that we care! Let’s be part of those smiling faces on Xmas morning.
