ATVANS 2010 JAMBOREE UPDATE

ATVANS 2010 JAMBOREE
The weather does not look good for Saturday in the valley (Hurricane Earl). The camp ground is laying off their staff after this weekend but they have stocked the canteen and your committee has made financial commitments as well.
The band we have booked is willing to play Sunday night instead of Saturday night.
The plan is to move registration to start on Saturday-6pm to 10 pm and again Sunday morning 8am to 10am.
The Saturday run can go on Sunday
Geocache activities on the camp ground can be done as people wish. The trail geocache run can be done Monday morning and the sled pull can take place on the camp ground for those not interested in the geocache.
The shorter stay at the camp ground will reduce cost the admission costs.
Breakfast will be available Monday morning as planned and because people will be leaving early in the afternoon the canteen will be open Monday noon for those interested in lunch.
This plan will only allow for one rally on Sunday but everything else will remain in the events schedule.
I hope this will work for most of you who plan to attend the 2010 ATVANS Jamboree.
Unfortunately we can not control the weather.
